We've only tried the Escape Hunt in Sydney CBD, so our impressions are based on that. The lobby's atmosphere was fantastic, themed to 1900s-style, with grouped tables and couches. Our host Kristy was very friendly and welcoming, and there were small puzzles on the groups of barrel-y tables (take apart the two bits of metal, fit all of the wooden pieces into the frame, etc.). It clearly aims to be polished, and succeeds admirably.
The price also reflects this, as they're one of the more expensive escape rooms in Australia. While their puzzles are excellent, you can also find better value. They bill themselves as "Best Real-Life 'Escape Room' Game In Sydney" but we would take that with a grain of salt. Let's just say that while they were fun, we've also been to better. Ah, SEO.
